More than 110 students and high schoolers from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) presented their research across four campuses at the 2024/25 Spring Scientific Student Conference. The event, led by Rector Dr. Csaba Gyuricza, emphasized the importance of student talent, mentorship, and strong university support as pillars of academic success.
Students competed in 11 sections—from agrarian science and biotechnology to economics and education—sharing research on topics like sustainable farming, digital education, environmental innovation, and more. The presentations were evaluated by a panel of university professors and external experts, with the best projects earning recommendations to represent the university at the 2027 National Scientific Student Conference.
The event highlighted MATE’s ongoing commitment to talent development and generational knowledge transfer, as emphasized by Dr. Mézes Miklós, President of the MATE Talent Council.
Congratulations to all participants and winners for their achievements!
