Obuda University marked a historic milestone in international cooperation as the newly constructed St Elizabeth of Hungary Hall was inaugurated at Tangaza University in Nairobi. The facility, realized with support from the Hungary Helps Program and the Hungarian Embassy in Kenya, underscores Hungary’s commitment to global education and solidarity.
Obuda University was the sole European university officially represented, with Gyorgyi de Nemesker initiating a Memorandum of Understanding with Tangaza University to establish student and faculty mobility, joint curricula, and dual degree programs under the Hungarian Pannonia Program.
The hall, named after St Elizabeth of Hungary, symbolizes compassion, connection, and a shared vision for global academic collaboration.
