The Hungarian University of Dance commemorated the 60th anniversary of the birth of Zoltán Nagy Jr., Kossuth and Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning ballet artist, former principal dancer of the Hungarian State Opera House, ballet master, and former rector of the institution’s legal predecessor.
In a heartfelt tribute, Szilárd Macher DLA remembered Nagy as an outstanding artist, respected leader, and beloved colleague whose elegance, technical brilliance, and iconic roles—such as Spartacus—left a lasting mark on Hungarian ballet. The university community honors his artistic legacy and continues to build upon the professional vision he helped shape.
