Máté Molnár, Head of Corporate Communications at Lounge Group, recently visited Óbuda University as a guest lecturer for the Integrated Marketing course, offering students a practical look into how integrated agencies and campaigns operate in today’s media landscape.
Invited by Krisztina Bódi, Molnár delivered sessions to four groups of Hungarian and international students. During the seminars, he presented both Lounge Group’s own campaigns and several international examples, highlighting how brands and agencies can still develop meaningful, creative ideas beyond short-form content trends and low-value digital noise.
Teaching, however, came with its challenges. The sessions were held on a Saturday evening and Monday late afternoon—times when maintaining student attention can be especially demanding. Competing with smartphones and social media, Molnár noted the importance of engaging students quickly. Within the first five minutes, he managed to shift attention from screens to the presentation, encouraging active participation and discussion.
The seminars concluded with thoughtful questions from students, reflecting strong engagement with the topic. According to Molnár, the experience demonstrated that when professionals communicate in a way that resonates with younger generations and approach them with trust, meaningful dialogue can follow.
The event offered students a valuable opportunity to connect academic theory with real-world communication strategies and industry practice.
