The Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA) has celebrated the successful conclusion of the sixth edition of Project 50+10, a multidisciplinary pedagogical innovation initiative using Project-Based Learning (PBL). Over 1,000 students from 10 undergraduate programs collaborated with 20 partner organizations to develop creative solutions to real and complex challenges.
The final event featured presentations in dynamic formats such as pitches, creative exhibitions, and interactive showcases, judged by representatives from renowned companies and institutions. The project also maintained its international dimension through three Short International Blended Experiences (SIBEs) and one Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in partnership with the University of Burgos under the RUN-EU alliance, involving 40 students in cross-cultural and skill-building experiences.
The initiative, led by IPCA’s Office for the Promotion of Pedagogical Innovation and Academic Success, has reinforced its reputation as a reference in innovative higher education, fostering learning through hands-on impact-driven projects.
