
The U.S. News & World Report has released its latest Best Global Universities ranking, placing Jagiellonian University first among Polish institutions. The university secured the 427th position worldwide, ahead of the University of Warsaw (468th) and AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (847th).
The ranking evaluates 2,250 universities from over 100 countries, based on 13 indicators including global and regional research reputation, publications, citations, and international collaboration. Leading the global list are Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Stanford University.
Jagiellonian University achieved strong subject rankings, including #130 in mathematics, #143 in cardiovascular sciences, #158 in arts and humanities, and #215 in clinical medicine, among others. A total of 45 Polish universities were featured in the report.
