The January joint application period for English-taught higher education programmes in Finland has closed with a total of 6,548 applications for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Metropolia University of Applied Sciences attracted strong interest from both domestic and international applicants, offering 969 study places: 604 in Bachelor’s programmes and 365 in Master’s programmes.
Among Bachelor’s programmes, Nursing received the highest number of applications, followed by Information Technology and International Business and Logistics. For Master’s programmes, Business Informatics, Advanced Practice Nursing, and Information Technology, Networking and Services were the most popular.
Metropolia’s English-taught programmes emphasize practical, hands-on learning, preparing students for working life and multicultural environments. The next joint application for Finnish-taught programmes opens from 10 to 24 March 2026.
