For the first time, the Pol’and’Rock Festival featured a cyber resilience lab as part of the Netochron initiative, organised by the Digital Dialogue Association, CyberSkiller, and Kozminski University. Thousands of visitors took part in interactive activities such as detecting phishing attempts, testing password strength, and learning about threats from malicious devices like BadUSB.
The initiative aims to raise public awareness of digital threats while promoting “digital hygiene” as a foundation for mental well-being and productivity. Visitors could also explore how to spot deepfake videos, clone RFID cards, and configure devices for better online safety.
According to Professor Bogdan Księżopolski, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity at Kozminski University, Netochron empowers people to take control of their own cyber safety through knowledge, self-directed learning, and informed choices.
Following its festival debut, Netochron will offer a free online course, workshops, and educational resources to expand cyber resilience nationwide.
