
The internationally active pianist Liza Chung visited Eszterházy Károly Catholic University as part of an Erasmus KA171 project from Pontifícia Universidad Católica de Chile. She performed a piano concert and shared insights in an interview about her musical journey, influences, and teaching philosophy.Chung highlighted the importance of the composition itself as the primary “mediator” between performer and audience, emphasizing passion, commitment, and discipline for young musicians. She also led masterclasses for university students, offering a hands-on learning experience that combined performance, analysis, and pedagogical guidance.
