Mary Immaculate College has partnered with the Embassy of France in Ireland to launch a new scholarship program aimed at improving modern foreign language teaching in Irish primary schools.The initiative will support selected education students with immersive training in France, including language development and classroom experience. Each year, top students will attend a four week program at a leading language institute in Vichy.This partnership aligns with Ireland’s plan to introduce foreign languages into primary education and aims to prepare future teachers with strong language and teaching skills.
