During the #skillsnight 2025 event in Innsbruck, Austria, 48 students from the University of Innsbruck (Meduni Innsbruck) and the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Tyrol (FH Gesundheit) participated in an intense overnight simulation in the emergency department. Across 6 workshops and 12 real-life scenarios, nursing and medical students worked side by side through the night—practicing teamwork, communication, and clinical skills like intubation and infusion. The initiative aimed to teach interprofessional collaboration right from the start of their studies.
