Researchers at the Medical University of Graz are engaging children and adolescents in science through initiatives such as the OeAD Science Ambassadors and collaborations with the Science Garden. Katrin Bartl-Pokorny and Florian Pokorny recently published an article in Frontiers in Young Minds, explaining complex health research topics in an accessible way for 8- to 15-year-olds. These initiatives aim to spark early interest in science, provide hands-on research experiences, and show young people how scientific discoveries can impact society.
