Medical University of Vienna has successfully performed a new minimally invasive procedure to treat life threatening cardiac arrhythmias for the first time in Austria.The technique combines thoracoscopy and catheter based ablation, allowing doctors to treat previously inaccessible areas of the heart. It offers a safer and more effective option, especially for patients with ventricular tachycardia.The procedure was carried out by specialists including Stefan Stojković and Emilio Osorio, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in modern cardiac care.
