
The National University of Public Service (NUPS) held a graduation ceremony on August 8 for students who completed the intensive module training for voluntary territorial reserve service. Colonel Miklós Kaló, commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces 1st Territorial Defence Regiment, praised the 74 civilian students—double last year’s number—who undertook the challenge, highlighting their commitment to protecting peace and national independence. The event, attended by Brigadier General Péter Lippai, Dean of the Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training, recognized the best trainers and graduates, emphasizing that skills gained during training are valuable both in military service and everyday life.
