The 9th Bohemian Jazz Capital Festival is being held from August 7 to 10 at the Benkó Zoltán Leisure Center in Kecskemét. Neumann János University, a proud sponsor of the event, is welcoming fans of ragtime, blues, New Orleans jazz, Dixieland, hot jazz, and swing with its own dedicated stage, NEUMANNPLACC.
The university stage features acclaimed artists including Árpád Dennert and István Gyárfás Duo, “Sir” Oliver Mally and Peter Schneider Blues Duo, and Eszter Lukács and István Gyárfás Duo. Visitors are invited to enjoy four days of live music and relaxation in a welcoming atmosphere.
Additionally, the Kecskemét Campus operator, KEDO Zrt., is supporting the jazz camp running alongside the festival. Since August 5, jazz has been filling the halls of the modern and stylish Educational Building of Neumann János University, which is hosting the camp for the third time.
