The Neumann János University (John Neumann University) solar team has impressively competed across Australia from north to south in their solar-powered car. Facing daytime temperatures of 37 degrees and nighttime lows of 5 degrees, the team navigated lush tropical rainforests, red deserts, and cooler southern landscapes, harnessing the sun’s energy throughout their journey.
On Tuesday, the team completed another race day, achieving an unexpected 9th place, safely arriving at their accommodations. Traveling at speeds exceeding 80 km/h, the Neumann team demonstrates exceptional expertise, strategy, and teamwork, competing alongside experienced teams with larger budgets.
The university celebrates the team’s incredible performance and their steady progress toward the race finish line.
