Neumann János University (NJE) has reached a milestone in its academic journey, hosting its first-ever public workplace research debates at the Doctoral School of Business and Management Sciences. Held on May 28 at Infopark, the event brought together 28 academic and industry professionals to assess cutting-edge research from doctoral candidates.
Among the featured presentations was that of Helga Sárközy, whose work explores a pressing topic: trust and awareness in AI-powered financial services. Her research, titled “Trust and Awareness in the Era of AI-Based Financial Services”, examines how consumer confidence is shaped by digital innovation in fintech, and how responsible use of AI can be supported through stronger data security and customer experience frameworks.
Another doctoral candidate, Gábor Vajda, presented research on performance measurement in digital controlling systems, aiming to create a complex methodology that evaluates the efficiency of digitally supported decision-making tools in businesses.
Both presentations were guided by Dr. Zoltán Zéman, with Dr. Botond Géza Kálmán co-supervising Sárközy’s research.
The event marked more than just academic evaluation — it served as a platform for scientific dialogue, promoting collaboration and signaling the university’s dedication to socially relevant and innovative research.
