he newly elected Academic Senate of Silesian University in Opava held its first formal meeting. Ing. Lucie Kamrádová, Ph.D., was re-elected as chairperson, with Ing. Irena Szarowská, Ph.D., MPA, serving as vice-chair of the academic staff chamber, and Bc. Barbora Hozová representing the student chamber. PhDr. Diana Adamová, Ph.D., was confirmed as secretary. The session also introduced the new Vice-Rector for Study and Social Affairs, doc.
