
he newly elected Academic Senate of Silesian University in Opava held its first formal meeting. Ing. Lucie Kamrádová, Ph.D., was re-elected as chairperson, with Ing. Irena Szarowská, Ph.D., MPA, serving as vice-chair of the academic staff chamber, and Bc. Barbora Hozová representing the student chamber. PhDr. Diana Adamová, Ph.D., was confirmed as secretary. The session also introduced the new Vice-Rector for Study and Social Affairs, doc. PaedDr. Tatiana Matulayová, Ph.D., and approved the Senate’s meeting schedule, with one of its main tasks being the election of the university’s next rector.Source: Silesian University in Opava
