The Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences (MATE) has launched the Entz Ferenc Horticulture, Viticulture and Enology College at its Buda Campus. Named after Ferenc Entz, who founded the legal predecessor of the campus in 1853, the college aims to bring together students of horticultural engineering, viticulture and oenology, and plant medicine.
The initiative focuses on creating a professional and community network beyond the curriculum, offering lectures, workshops, roundtable discussions, and study trips. Students will have the chance to engage with industry experts, gain practical experience, and participate in extracurricular academic activities. Applications are accepted at the start of each semester, followed by a personal interview.
