
Starting from July 1, 2025, three faculty leaders at Pázmány Péter Catholic University have been reappointed for another three-year term. Based on the recommendations of the faculty councils and the proposal of Rector Dr. Géza Kuminetz, the university’s Grand Chancellor, Bishop Dr. András Veres of Győr, confirmed the following appointments:
- Dr. Nándor Máté Birher as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
- Dr. György Cserey as Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics
- Dr. László Komáromi as Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences
Additionally, Dr. Péter Szabó, Head of the Canon Law Institute, has received a renewed mandate as President of the Institute from Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education of the Roman Curia, effective from September 1, 2025.
