
Debrecen, February 2026 – Prospective students got an inside look at campus life and study programs during the fourth and final Open Day at Eötvös József College (EJF) for those applying to courses starting in September 2026.
The event drew significant interest, with numerous visitors eager to experience firsthand the academic environment and explore the wide variety of programs available.
The day opened with a welcoming speech from Rector Dr. Ibolya Szilágyiné Szinger, who highlighted the college’s student-centered approach and provided practical guidance for navigating the admissions process.
Ladányi Éva from the Institute of Teacher Education presented the bachelor’s programs in primary education, early childhood education, and infant and toddler pedagogy. She emphasized the practical focus of these programs and the career opportunities they open for graduates. Following this, Dr. Krisztina Keresnyei from the Institute of Economics introduced the Business and Management bachelor’s program, detailing its unique features and the professional pathways available to alumni.
Prospective education students received targeted advice on entrance exam requirements from Master Instructor Zita Bakacsi and College Lecturer Dr. Zoltán Kiss, providing tips to better prepare for this key step in the admissions process.
Horváth Balázs, President of the Student Union, shared insights into campus life, highlighting community programs, sports opportunities, and the active, diverse student experience awaiting new EJF students.
Visitors also had the opportunity to attend open classes and explore information booths hosted by the International Relations Office, Sports Office, and Student Union. Out-of-town guests were given guided tours of the dormitories by student mentors.
Eötvös József College warmly invites all those interested in pursuing careers in education or business to join its supportive and inspiring community. Applications for September 2026 courses are open exclusively through the E-felvételi platform on felvi.hu until midnight, February 15, 2026.
