The University of the Arts Helsinki has appointed Ossi Naukkarinen as Vice Rector for Research for 2025–2030 and Kaisa Rönkkö as Dean of the Sibelius Academy for 2026–2030. Naukkarinen, a former Aalto University research vice rector, will lead research and doctoral education development across the university’s three academies. Rönkkö, former director of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland, brings extensive leadership experience in music and the arts sector to guide the Sibelius Academy.
