A heartfelt charity concert was held on June 19 at the Church of Saint Teresa of Ávila in Budapest to support children of mining families affected by the Parajd disaster. The event was organized by the Creation Protection Research Institute of Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE) and featured performances by students of the Bartók Béla Conservatory.
Thanks to the generous support of attendees, the event raised 401,000 HUF and 100 EUR, which will be delivered to families in need with the help of the Áprily Lajos Elementary School in Parajd.
The university extends its gratitude to all who contributed—through work, presence, or donation—to support children in this difficult situation.
