The Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra is offering 58 places for the Special Admission Competition for Graduates of Professional Pathways for the 2025/2026 academic year. These places are distributed across three of its schools — ESAC, ESTGOH, and ISEC — covering a total of 22 bachelor’s degree programs.
The first phase of the competition runs from August 13 to 22. Candidates who took the required knowledge tests between July 8 and 10 and scored at least 95 must submit their applications through the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES) website.
This competition is designed for students who have completed secondary education through professional pathways or specialized artistic courses, aiming to reduce inequalities between them and students from scientific-humanistic pathways. To apply, the completed professional or artistic course must align with the CNAEF area of the intended degree, and applicants must complete the corresponding subject-specific exams.
For further information, applicants are advised to consult the DGES website.
