
Two lecturers have received major recognition from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Veszprém Regional Committee for their outstanding scientific achievements. One was awarded Researcher of the Year 2025 for work in forensic genetics and the legal-ethical aspects of gene editing, while another received the Outstanding Young Researcher 2025 award for research on asbestos-related environmental and health risks.
Their work highlights significant contributions to forensic science, environmental protection, and sustainability, further strengthening interdisciplinary research and innovation.
