Professor Gianpiero Cavalleri of RCSI, Deputy Director of FutureNeuro Research Ireland Centre for Translational Brain Science, has been appointed to the newly established National Science Advice Forum. The forum, comprising 12 experts across scientific disciplines, will strengthen the integration of scientific evidence into government policy and decision-making. Professor Cavalleri, an internationally recognised researcher in human genetics and neurological disease, highlighted his focus on informing initiatives in health research and human genomics in partnership with patients and the public.
