
Three researchers from the Jagiellonian University were honored during the Polish Science Gala held in Warsaw as part of Polish Science Day celebrations. The awards, presented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, recognize outstanding achievements in scientific, teaching, implementation, and organizational activity.
More than 150 scientists from across the country received distinctions this year. The recognized scholars represent fields including chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, and psychology, with contributions ranging from advanced chemical research and innovative therapeutic molecule development to work on mental health standards and psychological prevention.
Polish Science Day, established in 2020 and celebrated annually on February, commemorates the achievements of Polish scientists and promotes evidence based research as a foundation for national development and innovation.
