
The Royal University of Bhutan is celebrating its 20th anniversary by hosting an international conference themed “RUB @ 20: Co-Creating and Disseminating New Knowledge for the Benefit of Humanity”.
The three-day event will bring together global scholars, researchers, and policymakers to discuss innovative approaches in education, research, and sustainable development. Sessions will highlight Bhutan’s progress in higher education, the role of universities in fostering Gross National Happiness, and strategies for addressing climate change, cultural preservation, and technological transformation.
The conference will also feature exhibitions, cultural performances, and networking sessions aimed at strengthening academic partnerships worldwide.
Established in 2003, the Royal University of Bhutan has grown into a key driver of the nation’s human resource development, integrating traditional values with modern knowledge.
