
Silesian University in Opava successfully organized the international mathematics competition Náboj, bringing together high school students for a dynamic team based challenge.The event, held in Opava, featured both junior and senior categories and attracted participants from across multiple countries. A team from Wichterle Gymnasium in Ostrava achieved top results nationally and ranked among the best internationally.Alongside the competition, participants and teachers engaged in discussions and lectures, including a session on the use of artificial intelligence in mathematics education. The event highlighted the importance of collaboration, enthusiasm, and academic excellence in fostering young talent.The competition once again demonstrated the strong role of the university in supporting mathematical education and international academic exchange.
