Széchenyi István University organized a major conference where students and young lecturers from the University Research Scholarship Program (EKÖP) presented their scientific projects. Attendees could learn about 89 research topics—from leading technologies and digital transformation to sustainability.
The program, renewed this year, aims to support talented students and young researchers and prepare the next generation of innovators. Projects ranged from smart medical sensors to the challenges of artificial intelligence in the workplace. Professor László Varga, head of the university’s Doctoral Council, emphasized the importance of publishing results and highlighted the wide opportunities for interdisciplinary research at Széchenyi.
The university continues to offer strong support and funding for young researchers, with applications for the next scholarship cycle open until June 15.
