For the first time, the University of Szeged (SZTE) and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences’ Szeged Regional Committee (SZAB) will take part in the national Museum Night on June 21, 2025. Visitors can explore Nobel-themed exhibitions, scientific artifacts, and guided tours across three academic locations.
Highlights include a permanent exhibition on Karikó Katalin’s path to the Nobel Prize, a visit to the Szent-Györgyi Memorial Room featuring the famed C-vitamin vial and his iconic red robe, and a historical display at the SZAB headquarters, showcasing six decades of research milestones.
From a bicycling Einstein statue to a working telescope, this unique academic showcase bridges science, history, and inspiration. Guided tours will be offered throughout the evening, with all exhibitions also available for independent viewing.
