Three third-year musical theatre students from the University of Theatre and Film Arts — Cintia Szabó, Noémi Fogel, and Ágnes Szalay — recently took part in an MTVA casting session organized by the university’s Career Office. The event allowed the students to explore the world of television programming alongside their theatrical skills.
Under the guidance of MTVA experts, they practiced tasks ranging from news reading to hosting entertainment programs and moderating cultural shows, receiving positive feedback for their adaptability and on-camera presence. According to Mónika Wild, head of the Career Office and Student Counseling, such opportunities help students build essential skills, network with industry professionals, and prepare for careers in related fields.
The casting also provided valuable experience in stress management, quick adaptability, and audience engagement — all vital competencies in the performing arts.
