Eger – June 17, 2025 | A delegation from Gümüşhane University in Turkey has visited Eszterházy Károly Catholic University as part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility programme, aiming to strengthen cooperation in tourism and gastronomy education.
The three-member delegation—Dr. Suat Akyürek, Dr. Sedat Tas, and Dr. Songül Seda Kamber Tas—spent time at the university’s Hotel E*Stella Superior training hotel, where they observed the institution’s practical training model and met with Dr. István Vas and Zsolt Gaál to discuss internship and faculty exchange opportunities.
The Turkish visitors also held talks with Györgyi Majorosné Kovács, Head of International Strategy and Partnership Development, to explore broader academic collaborations.
The visit reflects both institutions’ commitment to fostering cross-border cooperation and expanding hands-on learning opportunities in the field of hospitality and tourism.
