
University College Cork (UCC) has been awarded €4.9 million under the Horizon Europe Programme to lead the LINDA-FAMILIA project, aiming to improve maternal and child health in East Africa. Coordinated by the INFANT Research Centre at UCC, the initiative will implement open-source digital health systems to replace paper records, track infectious diseases, and support clinical care in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. The project involves 11 global partners and seeks to enhance evidence-based healthcare, strengthen health data systems, and save lives.
