
Universidade de Lisboa participated in the XIII Unite! Dialogue at Politecnico di Torino, a key event bringing together over 300 representatives from the nine partner universities of the Unite! European University Alliance.
Under the theme “From a short-term Erasmus+ project to a long-term alliance contributing to EU competitiveness”, discussions focused on transforming Unite! into a cohesive and sustainable European university system capable of addressing education, research, and innovation challenges.
ULisboa contributed actively to sessions on internationalization, social impact, and interuniversity collaboration, emphasizing strategic planning for 2030, joint Erasmus+ funding proposals, and the integration of daily activities within the alliance. Student voices were highlighted through the SURE! network, reinforcing their role in tackling social and technological challenges.
The Dialogue concluded with a strong call for coordinated action and the implementation of strategic plans, reaffirming ULisboa’s commitment to building an integrated, open, and competitive European higher education and research space.
