The University of Arts and Design in Prague (UMPRUM) presented its Architecture III Studio projects under the theme Terra Syn(es)thetica at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz. The exhibition explores how new technologies can reconnect architecture with natural ecosystems and address global crises.
Highlighted projects include Biotopization of Roofscapes for urban greening, Mossform for interior humidity control, URBIOMs of the Symbio(s)cene promoting bioinclusive urban spaces, and REMMP, a multimaterial robotic 3D printing initiative combining art and engineering.
The projects integrate research, 3D printing, generative AI, and data analysis to propose sustainable, interactive, and conceptual solutions, inviting reflection on contemporary environmental and urban challenges.
