
At the Université de Namur, creativity is being recognized as a critical skill for the future, particularly with the rise of AI and the growth of cultural and creative industries. Starting September 2026, two new bachelor tracks will be offered:“Technologies créatives” in Management Engineering – focuses on exploring and experimenting with creative uses of technology, including generative AI, immersive technologies (XR), and game-related technologies, while considering societal and sustainable challenges.“Industries culturelles et créatives” in Information and Communication – evolves the existing “Culture et audiovisuel” track, strengthening connections with the dynamic Namur cultural ecosystem (e.g., KIKK festival, FIFF, wake!, Pavillon, Confluent des savoirs, Medialab). Students will gain hands-on experience and networking opportunities in cultural and creative industries.These tracks aim to combine academic training with practical exposure, offering students a versatile education aligned with evolving market and societal needs. Collaboration with local industry stakeholders ensures that graduates are prepared to innovate and lead at the intersection of communication, technology, and creativity.
