University College Dublin has successfully secured funding for nine innovative projects under Research Ireland’s Enterprise Fellowship Programme, highlighting its strong role in bridging academic research and industry collaboration.The funded projects span a wide range of disciplines, including artificial intelligence security, cancer diagnostics, environmental engineering, and biomedical research. Notable initiatives include the development of an AI security framework for enterprise systems, a digital twin model for colorectal cancer diagnosis, and advanced therapies aimed at restoring vision.The programme, which awarded a total of €4.4 million across 46 fellowships, is designed to strengthen collaboration between academia and enterprise partners.
