The University of Debrecen’s annual yoUDay show continues to be Hungary’s premier university celebration. In 2024, approximately 600 performers and nearly 1,000 contributors brought the best of Hungarian pop music to the Nagyerdei Stadium for the university’s grand opening ceremony.
Highlights included sold-out performances by Manuel, Halott Pénz with Dávid Marsalkó and Márk Járai, LGT Zenevonat, and Király Tesók. The finale, featuring German DJ and producer Topic, wowed 20,000 attendees with spectacular visual effects, while the audience danced and sang along throughout the night.
This year’s ninth stadium show promises to be even bigger. Tickets are now available on a new online platform, which also includes surprises, detailed information, and an AI assistant to answer questions related to yoUDay.
