
The Business School of the University of Eastern Finland has received business accreditation from AACSB International, the world’s longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools. This recognition marks the school’s commitment to excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning.
Less than 6% of the world’s business schools hold AACSB accreditation, making it one of the most respected distinctions in business education. With this achievement, the University of Eastern Finland joins a network of 1,068 institutions across 69 countries and territories that have met AACSB’s rigorous quality standards.
Saara Julkunen, Head of the UEF Business School, described the accreditation as a milestone that strengthens the school’s ability to foster innovative thinking, impactful learning, and responsible research, while opening new opportunities for collaboration worldwide.
The accreditation ensures continuous improvement and aligns the school with the highest global standards, preparing students to become future leaders in business and society.
