The University of Lapland’s Faculty of Art and Design is running a development project to improve occupational safety culture in workshop environments, including painting, wood, and video studios. Led by Maria Huhmarniemi and in collaboration with Palvelumuotoilu Palo Oy, the initiative uses co-creation and a gamified safety tool to make safety a shared, practical practice rather than just rules.Expected outcomes include practical safety guidelines, enhanced collaboration, risk prevention, and a gamified learning tool for broader workplace use. The project is funded by the Finnish Work Environment Fund and will continue until April 2026.🔗
