The University of Ljubljana’s Veterinary Faculty has been awarded the prestigious DGNB Gold Pre-Certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council, recognizing its commitment to high sustainability standards in the construction of its new facility. The project, one of the few in Slovenia to achieve such recognition, meets strict environmental, economic, and social criteria, ensuring energy efficiency, reduced resource use, and improved indoor environmental quality. Scheduled for completion in mid-2026, the building will provide modern research and teaching spaces, enhancing the working and learning environment for staff and students while reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
