The University of Lodz has officially launched a new initiative aimed at improving the experience of international researchers coming to work and live in Poland. The project, titled Lodzkie for International Researchers, was inaugurated on March 27, 2026, in collaboration with Lodz University of Technology and Medical University of Lodz.The program focuses on simplifying administrative processes, offering dedicated support services, and helping researchers integrate into both academic and local communities. Key features include a Mobile Researcher Assistant, standardized employment procedures, practical guides for living in Lodz, and integration events for researchers and their families.The initiative is part of the wider European EURAXESS network, which promotes researcher mobility across Europe. The project will run until September 2028 and aims to position Lodz as an attractive hub for international academic careers.
