The University of Miskolc has reached a new milestone in its long standing partnership with FUX Zrt by modernizing and reopening its materials testing laboratory now named the Voith Laboratory. The facility symbolizes the shared values of engineering excellence innovation and knowledge driven development between academia and industry.Originally established in 2010 the laboratory has become a key center for industrial university collaboration in the region supporting advancements in pipeline and cable industry technologies while integrating modern engineering practices into education.During the official ceremony Dr Istvan Barkoczi Chairman of FUX Zrt and Professor Zita Horvath Rector of the University of Miskolc signed a renewed cooperation agreement further strengthening joint efforts in engineering education and research and development. The partnership aims to deepen the connection between scientific research and industrial application.Leaders highlighted that the laboratory serves not only as a research hub but also as a training ground for future engineers where theoretical knowledge meets real world practice.
