The Institute of History and Philosophy at the University of Nyiregyhaza wrapped up the academic year with a 15-kilometer Mátra tour exploring landmarks linked to the Károlyi family.
The journey began at the Rákóczi tree, continued through Ilona Valley and its waterfall, and passed the Markazi Gate before visiting the Disznókő and Saskő lookout points. Participants also explored the Gabi Death site, Trout Lake, and Clarissza Csevice spring.
The excursion ended in Parádfürdő, where most of the group enjoyed a traditional borzaska meal at the area’s top-rated restaurant.
