The University of Sopron has achieved another outstanding result, enrolling more than 220 new students through the 2025 supplementary admission process. Popular programs included Recreation and Lifestyle, ESG and Applied Sustainability Specialist, and Wood Industry Engineering.
This year, in addition to self-funded places, several state-funded positions were also offered, giving more opportunities to those not admitted during the general admissions period. According to Dr. Enikő Pásztor, Vice-Rector for Education, the results confirm the university’s strong position and appeal, driven by its sustainability-focused identity and modern, student-centered environment.
All faculties contributed to the success, offering a wide range of programs from agriculture and IT to teacher training, sports science, and economics. Admitted students will receive official notifications after August 28, along with enrollment details.
