
The University of Sopron has launched a groundbreaking “training of trainers” program within the HunEdu project, supported by the European Space Agency (ESA). The one-week course focuses on advanced satellite data processing, bringing together international experts and Hungarian educators to strengthen Earth observation education. Partnering with Óbuda University and DATelite Kft., the initiative combines geospatial technologies, AI, and cloud-based methods to prepare future professionals for real-world applications, from climate monitoring to sustainable agriculture. The training marks a milestone in Hungary’s higher education, aligning with ESA’s Earth observation goals.
