The University of Szeged hosted the General Assembly of Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Hungary from June 27 to 29, bringing together mentors from across the country to discuss international mobility programs and scholarship opportunities.
Richárd Bodrogi, Director General of the Tempus Public Foundation, gave a detailed presentation on current and upcoming scholarships, with special focus on the Pannonia Scholarship program, which supports the international studies of Hungarian university students. He also answered practical questions from ESN mentors on applications and the future of mobility schemes.
The University of Szeged was represented by Dr. Tamás Bene and Dr. Leona Kovács-Jerney, who both emphasized the university’s dedication to internationalization and thanked ESN Szeged volunteers for their year-round efforts.
The event offered mentors key information to better support both international students in Hungary and Hungarian students preparing to study abroad, strengthening community and cultural integration on campus.
