The University of Szeged officially opened one of the country’s most prestigious engineering competitions, the Ajtonyi Istvan Control Engineering Programming Contest, on April 7. The event began at the Faculty of Engineering with a spectacular drone show and welcoming speeches from academic leaders.Over the course of three days, nearly 60 students are competing for the championship title in Szeged, often referred to as the City of Sunshine. The competition brings together some of the most talented future engineers, highlighting innovation and technical excellence in control engineering and industrial programming.The event not only showcases student skills but also strengthens collaboration between academia and industry, providing participants with valuable real-world experience and networking opportunities.
