
Péter Zombola, a university lecturer at the Eszterházy Károly Catholic University Music Institute, gave masterclasses at the East Tennessee State University’s composition and piano departments.He presented to BA and MA piano students on 20th- and 21st-century piano literature, while composition students attended two sessions: one focused on compositional techniques for piano, and the other on analyzing and presenting his own works. His oratorio Passió received particular acclaim from the students.The program provided a cross-cultural exchange in music education and offered students insight into contemporary piano repertoire and compositional methods.
